Simply put, she’s just a kid from Cleveland. Born and raised on the city’s eastside suburbs, Ramat loved spending time in the kitchen with her mom, and cooking for her younger siblings. She then went off to her undergraduate studies in Michigan and loved spending Sundays in the kitchen creating elaborate dinners for her friends and roommates. This was the beginning of her growing passion for food. Some time later, leaving her career as a 911 police dispatcher, she decided it was time to follow her dream and attend culinary school to become a chef.

During this journey, she discovered a different career path that began pulling on her heartstrings: food styling. Since completing her culinary degree from Cuyahoga Community College, Ramat has continued to build a wealth of knowledge in the food styling world by working with several stylist and clients from all over the country. If she’s not in the kitchen at BurkleHagen, you can find her in the kitchen with her mother in law, or around Cleveland enjoying some local eats or amazing local art.
